The Olympics that charmed the world…

The Beijing Olympics 2008 have been concluded in a grand fashion. This Olympics has seen so many splendid performances. China organized the world’s biggest sporting event in such great style, splendor, efficiency and vision that it has set high standards for the rest of the world to follow.

 The Chinese have made use of the opportunity to showcase themselves in the best possible ways. The world is charmed by what lies behind the great wall. It has to be remembered that the Chinese had to overcome many strong challenges, including the Tibetan movement, and the unrest in its Muslim provinces. Notwithstanding the autocratic Communist system prevailing in China, they showed the vision, courage and the skill to not let the ideological differences mar the spirit of Olympics.
