THE DOOMED

In case you didn't know, Pakistan is doomed.

A country based on the premise that Muslims and Hindus have different cultural identity which can not coexist with each other is certain to be doomed. It is a universal truth that hatred cannot nurture anything other that destruction. Just a few months after its formation, Pakistan chose its destiny not just by attacking the then independent Jammu and Kashmir, but also by annexing Baluchistan which was supposed to be a free nation.

Pakistan's long history of engaging terrorism as state policy is well documented. Given below is the famous statement made by the then US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton during her visit to Pakistan in 2011.

Today Pakistan is facing all kinds of internal and external troubles. Its GDP is nosediving with suspension of Indus Water Treaty threatening a famine in the country. Price of essential commodities is too high even for the richest Pakistanis. Its airspace is being avoided by European countries as well, leading to huge loss to the exchequer. Common Pakistani is amassing essential items, whichever is available in anticipation of the inevitable . Its Army Chief has sent his family abroad and the PM is reportedly hospitalized. Its Naval Chief reportedly questioned the timing of Pahalgam misadventure as 6 of its 8 submarines are under repair. Some of its cities are under siege from Bluchistan Liberation Army. The threat of unidentified snipers loom large, forcing the government to shift most wanted terrorists to new shelters. Pakistan as a nation is imploding.

As far as India is concerned, the 21st April Pahalgam terror attack is a stark reminder that an irrelevant Pakistan doesn't mean an inconsequential Pakistan.

Yes, India should and will certainly make Pakistan shed tears of blood. Once the dust settles and blood flows through Indus river ends up in the Arabian Sea (pun intended), what next?
