Good going...

The GDP improving, manufacturing sector showing signs of big turnaround, government getting streamlined and governance getting less cumbersome... Good signs for my nation. However, retail inflation continues to be a challenge. The Modi government has declared that FCI would be revamped, which could have a direct impact on retail inflation. Strengthening the PDS system and forcing the states to control hoarding should be of equal priority. Petrol prices have come down a little. Diesel subsidy is set to go off the account books within two months or so. However, the pricing methodology followed by the state run oil companies have not been revamped. The government must take a hard, close look at it at the earliest. Power generation, judicial and law reforms, defence development and procurement have all received due importance from the NDA government.
